Private - Public Striptease A clothing article is designed as a technical device. Besides clothing, it has yet another function- to denude. By inserting the coin into an apparatus (at the fixed location) visitors activate electric motors attached to the author's body. Motors lower his pants (down) and soon afterwards return them to their previous position (up). Performance enfolds within gallery / exhibition space. However, the author (performer) is not separated from the exhibition visitors. This is actually a reason this performance is not dramaturgically demanding and does not require a long-term concentration on part of the visitors. The work functions as a riddle- it can go unnoticed, but who ever un-riddles it gets a small spectacle.
